Due to popular demand and a request from guitar virtuoso Barry Richman, we designed a tone circuit that would allow the user to have the standard tone of the Black Fuzz and be able to engage a tone control that will cut some of the highs much like a guitar's tone knob does, thus giving a dark, muffled sound. This pedal has appeared on many stages where players that want the darker distorted sounds. The activation of the tone knob begins to cut highs, as the knob is turned up the highs begin to fade more and distortion is smoothed slightly, all in all the pedal sounds beautiful with or without the tone control engaged.
