The CAM18 is an 18 watt (1 5U4, 2 6V6s, 2 12AX7s) amp that is voiced like a brit type amp, it is built to compete with the new chimey sounding stuff and has wonderful highs, really really ultra tight low end, and great distortion/overdrive with humbuckers. With singlecoils it does awesome cleans and gets into beautiful overdrive territory--the overdrive even stays tight and chimey!!! It has vol, tone, and master controls. The tone control controls mainly high mids but is VERY flexible. The amp does not have a pronounced mid hump like other amps on the market but does not lack at all in any region of the tonal spectrum. This amp is a true player's amp...it will do everything from country spank to rock growl and british style chimey clean. Take this puppy to Nashville, Jersey, Cali, Austin, or London--it will suit all of your tonal needs and fit in in most any environment. While other amps fall short of players' needs and seem out of place in some situations this one will work for you and fits in most anywhere...it also plays well with others!
